Is your child not feeling well or have a minor injury? An acute appointment is typically for a child who is sick or experiencing something outside the norm. You don’t have to guess or search the internet for remedies, feel free to give us a call to schedule your acute appointment.

Same day appointments are usually available. The earlier you call, the easier it will be to make an appointment for acute care!

Well Child Checks

As a parent, we know how important it is to you that your child is happy and healthy! At Pediatrics with A Mission, we follow the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) guidelines.

The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommends regular checkups for newborns and yearly checkups after 2 in order to monitor a child’s growth and development. This is great opportunity for us to answer any questions you may have about current or future developments and make sure your child’s health is progressing as expected. This also aids in detecting any possible issues early on, so we can take appropriate steps.

Although, the most popular time to do this is right before school starts, our pediatricians do well child checks throughout the year. This allows the parent to make an appointment early to avoid the rush.

Prenatal/Meet and Greet Consultation

Are you a first-time parent, new to the area or just looking for a new pediatrician?

Many parents want to feel comfortable with their pediatrician before they bring their child into the office. We can set up a time for you to visit the facility, meet the doctor, and ask questions about the practice.

We know the first few weeks of a child’s life or switching pediatricians can be a huge change of pace for parents, so we want you feel right at home with us when you bring your child in for the first visit.

Child Psychiatry Access Network

In the current climate we are seeing so many more kids with anxiety, depression, OCD, anger outbursts, suicidal ideation, and other self-harming behaviors. We work very closely with a network of child psychiatry access centers staffed by child psychiatrists who will provide pediatricians and primary care providers with live telephone case consultation as well as training opportunities related to common child mental health concerns.

We have access to a same day psychiatrist and social worker who is able to facilitate and guide management and find resources that are in network for the patient and in their preferred zip code.
